My first question asked for a star rating of the website, this was just for research purposes so I could see how the users rated the website so I could compare my rating to other websites about Cambridge' rating. My average rating was 4.5 star which I am happy with as it shows that the users thought the website was good but there could have been an improvement to have made it to 5 stars.

My second question asked the user if they could navigate around the website easily, this was so I could find out if the users felt comfortable using the website and that the navigation was not confusing for the audience. The feedback was that all users felt that the navigation was easy, this meets my client brief as I was asked to make the website easy to use.

My third question in the survey asked the user if the content loaded quickly, this is to do with the websites performance and accessibility and the content has to be able to load on different browsers for a positive user experience as I have to take into consideration not all users will use the standard Google Chrome etc as some might use Mozilla Firefox for example. The feedback was that the users stated that the loading times were fast, this again meets my client brief as it is suitable to be used on different browsers and devices which was part of the brief.

Question five in the survey asked users if they could interact with the website, this was an important question as the whole point of my task was to create an interactive website therefore the users should have been able to interact with it as the website has many interactive features. The feedback was that all users felt as so they could interact with the website, which also shows the interactive features worked. This meets my client brief as the client wanted an interactive website.

Question six asked users whether they found the spelling accurate within the website, as a website producer this is important to know that I have been thorougher with spell checking and proof reading as the website can not be launched with grammar and spelling errors. The feedback was that the users thought there were no spelling errors that they could immediately spot, which make my website fit for purpose and ready for launching,

Question seven was to do with the readability of the website which is of course important when producing a website, I wanted the clarification that the font was readable to the audience. Also if the text was readable against the specific colour scheme that I chose. The feedback was that all users seemed to find the text readable and in line with the colour scheme.

In question eight I asked my audience if they felt there was enough interactivity throughout the website, the main reason I asked this was because I wanted to gain some knowledge about how much interactivity an audience wants. I had 6 interactive features on my website but the audience could have wanted more to enhance their positive user experience. The feedback showed that all users were happy with the amount of interactive features on the website, which shows that I won't need to add anymore as the client brief asked for 6 and the users are fine with just 6.
|
Question 9 was again to do with the accessibility of the website, I asked the audience if the website performed well according to the platform they were using it on. After already investigating the platforms I was happy that the feedback was that all users felt like the website performed well on whatever platform they used to view the website on, this meets the client brief as it shows my website it compatible among different platforms on different devices in different places with different wifi connections.

For the last question, I left this open to the audience to give me constructive feedback about what I could add to improve the website. The feedback I got was more to do with content rather than interactivity. The users wanted more information on transport around Cambridge to get to the events or restaurants advertised so e.g. buses and taxis etc. They also wanted more information about recreational grounds/ parks that they could go to in Cambridge. Lastly, they also required that they wanted a feature where you could request an uber or a taxi within the app. These are all development features that could make my website better for the audience but it would have to go through my client first to see if they thought it was appropriate for what they wanted.
