This is my thought shower, I generated these idea's around the client brief and looked into other audio visual promos to help identify what I could add and include in my advert for the festival. This will be useful to refer to as it shows the record of the complete range of possible idea's and thoughts for my audio visual promo's. Here is my mood board, this is a visual representation of idea's for the three audio visual promo's I will be producing. As the audio visual promo's are for a music and arts summer festival I have included relevant pictures that show that as well as a lot of animation related pictures as I want to use animation for my advert as I think it's a unique way of selling a festival and will be eye catching to the audience. |
Each advert will finish with a soundlines logo with the relevant information such as the dates it will be held, the type of entertainment available and the official soundlines logo.
Each advert will also contain a soundlines logo located in the corner to brand the advert and make people aware of the festival. I will be using copyright free music, instrumentals and sound effects in this series of adverts. |

As a visual style reference I have used the Lloyds TSB animated advert, I feel like this type of animation is perfect for my advert as it is a 3D animation with a lot of colour which makes the adverts very engaging and fun. As I will be producing an advert for a festival, the advert has to show elements of fun and be entertaining to persuade people to go to the festival therefore the visual style has to look in coherence to the purpose of the advert.

The characters used in the Lloyds TSB adverts are quite simple but yet realistic as they have features of a real human but also have the cartoon style which is perfect for the type of characters I want to present in my advert. I believe this style is really engaging for all audiences as it suggests fun and is appealing for all of the family which is the purpose of the Soundlines festival. This cartoon style is also very entertaining and would give off a happy feel to the audience when watching it purely because as an audience you can still relate to cartoon style animations because they are still doing human things such as dancing, playing instruments etc. |
The environment styles used in the Lloyds TSB adverts are realistic but in a cartoon style, this is the type of environment style I want to use as I can almost show the type of environment the festival will be held in without it actually being the real thing. These environments also help tell the story to the audience as the audience can identify where the advert is set and then what it might be about. |
