I pitched my idea using the pitch presentation and proposal documentation to an audience of two. This was helpful as it meant I could gain relevant feedback of how my pitch went and how the documentation and presentation could be altered to make the real and final pitch the best it can be. For the feedback , I asked my audience members to answer some set open questions in order to receive relevant feedback. The benefit of asking open questions is so the respondents can be constructive in their feedback. These are the questions I asked; |
Question 1 simply asked the audience if they felt as so the presentation covered all of the relevant points that the client will be looking for, the reason I asked this was so that the audience could identify any potential questions that the client might ask. My audience thought that I covered all of the relevant points that the client would be looking for. |
Question 2 asked the audience if they thought from the pitch and proposal documents that Backpackers would be successful with the client. The reason I asked this was so that I could see if the audience thought the idea was good and if they thought that the client would approve of the idea. It is important that the client approves of the idea because then they're less likely to have doubts and ask questions that could put the idea to a disadvantage. The audience thought that the idea would be successful with the client. |
Question 3 was an interactive question where the audience could answer by a written response. I asked if the audience would add any other points or slides to the presentation to ensure that the client will be fully satisfied. The first bit of feedback I gained was that the audience thought there should be a section on the font that I might want to use as the drama identity. The second bit of feedback was that I added information on the font as well as just show it. I believe this feedback was very useful because the client might want to know what the font would be and why.

Last of all, question 4 asked my audience what I should add to my presentation to make sure it was eye catching for the client. The first piece of feedback was that on the title screen where it says 'Backpackers' to have that in the backpackers font, this will make it more identifiable and will make the idea look well thought through. The second piece of feedback I received was that I should leave the presentation free of effects, fancy fonts and lots of photos because it wouldn't look as professional.
