Comparing the finished piece to the original idea In terms of comparing the finished piece to the original idea I think I followed the original idea throughout the stages of production and post production this is because I kept my storyboard and original concept documents at hand when producing the final piece, I believe this is because I had faith in my original idea and I did not see any reason as to why it wouldn't work or be exactly what I wanted the finished product to look like hence why I stuck with it and cross referenced the original idea with all of the production stages and post production stages. The only difference I can identify is the fact some of the shots are slightly longer than stated in the storyboard and at the end of the sequence there is another appearance of the CGI face, this was something that I changed from audience feedback as the audience stated that the CGI face should appear more than once if that is what the film was centered around. Also at the end of the piece there's a credits screen which I did not include in the original storyboard, this was because I knew I was going to add a credit scene in anyway so I didn't feel the need to add it in the original document plans. Overall, I believe I stuck with the original ideas throughout the stages of production and this is because I believed in my idea and didn't have any troubles along the way that made me change my idea so overall I am happy with the original idea as it stuck with me throughout making me create the piece that I pictured in my head at the start. |
